Chalet Maria Interlaken is a traditional Swiss chalet with a garden, located in the heart of Interlaken. The apartment is only 250 meters away from the nearest train station and other public... Fantastic location, central to everything with gorgeous view to mountains. Slept so well in very comfortable bed, lovely apartment-quiet and cosy warm. Marco and Malika couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Really appreciated the use of a free bike for my stay, just wonderful to explore the many beautiful cycle pathways by canal, river and lakes and also using it for ease of reach to/from 2nd train station, Interlaken Ost (gateway to the mountains). The area has an abundance of stunningly beautiful sights and experiences. Would love to return here again. Thanks so much Marco and Malika for providing such super accommodation.

An excellent accommodation in Interlaken. Short walk from Interlaken West train station, near stores and groceries, but still a quiet area. The view from the property is great (you can even see people paragliding). The instruction of the host for luggage deposit and key collection is very clear (they even have marks with your name on to lead you on the correct way). The host is very responsive. A good place to experience a local Swiss chalet.

I stayed for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. The apartment was spotless clean, cozy, and very well equipped, with a lovely view that made the stay even more relaxing. The owner is a true gentleman — his hospitality was outstanding, and at the same time he respected our privacy completely, even though he lives upstairs. It’s also a perfect place for a family with kids, offering both comfort and space in a safe and peaceful environment. The whole atmosphere felt comfortable and homely, and I would definitely come back again without hesitation.

We stayed here for four days, and it’s within easy reach of all the spots we wanted to visit. We went to First Mountain, Lake Brienz, Lake Thun, Spiez, and Grindelwald—we even tried paragliding on First Mountain, which was an incredible experience. The town is quiet, and both the house and the host are fantastic. There’s a dedicated parking space and a garden; the kitchen is fully equipped, and every corner of the house is spotlessly clean. It truly feels like a home away from home! I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone traveling by car in the area. This large house in the town is so much more comfortable than the small, cramped rooms in popular scenic areas!
