All the amenities and supplies were fully prepared and ready for a few days of relaxation. The owner was very accommodating and available via WhatsApp, responding to my questions and requests immediately.

"The view was amazing, the Cabin was located high up in the hills, and you could see everything down below, The owners were extremely nice and spoke English well. The actual apartment we stayed in was very clean and modernised, and we had everything we would need to cook, clean, shower, sleep, etc. There were some very nice restaurants close by so we could go out to eat or make food in the kitchen. Overall, it was a very nice experience. I would recommend and would go again."

Set within 35 km of Allalin Glacier and 16 km of Luftseilbahn St. Niklaus - Jungen Cable Car, Mattertal Lodge provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Embd. Amazing lodge! Not only was the view outstanding but the lodge got everything you needed to prepare a good meal and relax while enjoying the landscape. There is a small grocery shop at the entry of the village, but I will suggest shopping in town before reaching the lodge.

Wish we had more than a night here! What a wonderfully laid out apartment with incredible views out the balcony, and a living space you could just spend forever in. A true chalet experience, would love to return again in winter.
