The Vi l'Art Wine Lodge was chosen to us due to the location and extremely good rating, place is and 1800's country house close to Cava region and Barcelona. Montserrat is easily accessed from here. Also great hiking areas are just nearby. Hosts Laura and Lalo are keeping the place in great shape, the food they make is great and the service level is something totally else than what you can wait. Lalo is a great cook and the vine's they chose to the meals were so good! We were there during hot season, but the location close to the hills and how they make the house work makes it a cool oasis even during hot days. We hope to make it back there some day. One of the best experiences in our many visits in northern Spain and Barcelona area. No kids means that they can only serve adults on the level what they like to keep. This is to keep the place as good as possible for the target audience.

It's a family run business and you get to experiment all the best of it: Ingrid and her family offer a top quality welcoming and service. The rooms are equipped with a/c and comfy beds. Outside there's swimming pool with sun beds and other beds to relax, bar and another building. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly. In 5 min walking you get to the station where a train takes you to Barcelona centre in 25 min. Highly recommended!

The manager was always in touch and answered all my questions before our check-in. The apartment was perfectly clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay, suitable for both short-term and longer stays. The hotel has a barbecue area where you can grill something. VERY comfortable bed, which is definitely a plus. There is free parking nearby, several cafes, I recommend trying the pizza))) There is also a fireplace that creates a cozy atmosphere)))
