After the arduous drive to Milovaig we were stunned by the sheer beauty of the location of Aurora Rural Retreat No. 3. You can see most of Loch Pooltiel up to the open sea while lying in bed... wonderful! The tiny cottage offers all the comfort a pair needs for a stay. We had it cozy and warm, while nothern winds howled around the edges of our small retreat. The bed was good and the shower was the best we had on our round trip so far. We definitely recommend a stay there when you're looking for a little bit of adventure while not missing anything.

We got a warm welcome, and the location was serene. If you need any other facilities or shopping, Portree is quite close by car. I would highly recommend staying here.

Situated in the countryside of Peiness, Skeabost View Pods Skye features accommodation with a seating area and flat-screen TV. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property.

All units have a kitchenette, heating, a private bathroom and a patio with river and mountain views. There is also a microwave, toaster and a kettle. There is plenty of free parking. I loved how clean the inside was. A small, cozy cabin especially needs to be clean to get that luxurious feeling, and we definitely felt the 'glam' in glamping. Window above the bed to see stars as you lie down, facilities for a campfire and marshmallows were above and beyond. Location is wonderful - 8min to portree, and fairly equidistant to all popular tourist spots on the island. Will highly recommend especially for a romantic getaway.

The kitchenette features a stovetop, fridge and toaster, as well as a coffee machine. The acommodation was excellent, outside of portree so you were in nature with an amazing view of the remote skye. We even got the opportunity to watch the nightsky shine bright on our vacation. The accommodation itself was really comfortable and had everything we could have wished for. The owner even initially supplied us with tea, milk, eggs and butter which provided comfort after a long journey. If you don't know what to do on Skye there was a detailed map of the island along with different information booklets.
