It felt like living a bit in the now and a bit in the past. It was comfortable and had all the things we needed. Most of all, the setting and the view is beautiful. I loved the bird songs the sheep across the valley, the horses in the pasture next to the house. And the house was cozy and cute.

Very detailed about how to get to the property. A very friendly and peaceful place to stay! Milk and a few snacks were put out for arrival, this was a bonus! The doggos all playing together.

Located 20 km from Chatsworth House, The Outside-Inn Wirksworth provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I loved everything about this place! It is in such a beautiful location overlooking the peak district, with the best sunsets! The hosts Jo and Paul are very welcoming and helpful, very quick response times! The Lodge I stayed in was dog friendly, it was so clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. It is a 15 minute drive to Carsington water and there are pubs/shops nearby. It is easy to get to other areas of the peak district. I'd go as far to say it's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed! I'll definitely be returning and friends and family are coming next time!

Offering garden views, Pictor Hall Lodge is an accommodation situated in Buxton, 20 km from Chatsworth House and 32 km from Capesthorne Hall. Everything was just perfect. Attention to details was incredible. From a full pantry of non parishables to conversation starter books. The lodge itself gave the vibe that you travelled back in time. Just loved our weekend at this place.

Loved the property! Beautiful and quiet location. Hot tub was a massive hit with the family. Kitchen was well equipped.
