We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and had some great conversations. As for the villa itself, gosh it was stunning. Truly a luxury retreat in nature. The view from our room was gorgeous and the bed was SO comfy. The services were top notch including amazing dinner delivery, delicious breakfast options and relaxing spa sessions. The 360 yoga shala view was stunning for sunrise, don’t miss it!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to stay here again! The friendlyness and welcoming of our Host and his family is overwhelming, making our stay a sweet memory! The small, remote village of Tete Batu is clean, vibrant with people bussy working in the fields, welcoming tourists. Our Host brought us on a 4 hour unforgettable hike on small, hidden tracks,,traversing ricepaddys and rainforest, home to endiguas black monkeys, finishing with a cool bath below the waterfall. Breakfest delicuas and healhy, local specialitys provided for lunch!

The rooms are big and clean with 2x2m beds. We were sleeping 2 adults and 1 5 years-old kid. The hotel is very quiet with a nice pool practically for you as there are only 6 rooms. The kitchen serves excellent quality food all the day: breakfast, lunch, dinner. We tasted 80% of the plates and they were delicious!! Better than going to Kuta. It's near Kuta but you will need a transport. The are no Grab cars in the area but there's a private driver living near the hotel called Han, really recommended!! Just ask for him in the reception.

They recommended amazing places in the neighbourhood and when we had nothing to do even invited us to do some local drink tasting, very pleasant experience. The view there is really great and the room and bathroom are wel maintained.

We travelled with our kids- 13 and 15. We love to travel vs “holiday”. Staying in the quiet village close to the mosque really helped us feel immersed in their culture. The host Putu & staff were so welcoming and chilled out. The family room was perfect! If you are looking for luxuries this isn’t for you. Comfort and peace then yes!
