From the cute little huts to the super kind and capable staff, we were happy about everything! We want to point out the excellent organization of our pick up and drive by Yusuf, the welcome at the lodge, then the core piece the jungle trekking with Andi who was so knowledgeable about orang-utans and the rain forest. The food at the lodge was great too. Bukit Lawang is a place where things still seem intact and tourists are decent and treated kindly too. If it wasn‘t so far, I would go back in a heartbeat. It was an exceptionnal experience!

The whole team (but particularly Yusup and Geng) made me feel very welcome, went above and beyond for me to get the most out of my experience and tailored the trek to my preferences.
