Location wise, Abbey lodge is near every place we went to, 30 min drive to tourist destinations. The apartment is huge and can cater 4 families. The amenities are complete- loads of utensils, pots and pans, crockery - we didnt have a problem bringing home wet clothes from swimming at the beach because they have a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The view from our room is amazing, overlooking the lake and the mountains. The beds and pillows are so comfy. It’s like home away from home. The host is very responsive as well as accommodating. Will recommend this place!

What truly set this property apart were the amenities. They were not just good they were the best of the best. Everything from the kitchenware to the entertainment options was top-notch and clearly chosen with the guest experience in mind. I was especially impressed by the care the hosts took in providing materials for guests. Whether it was toiletries, or little extras around the house, it was all done with great thought and generosity. It made the stay feel both luxurious and welcoming. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed, and truly guest-focused stay!

The location is perfect 10 minutes from Donegal town 20 minutes from Bundoran. It overlooks a beautiful lake. The views are amazing, and it's so quiet. The perfect place to stay and go exploring. Our dog loved the outdoor space and we were so content knowing he couldn't wander off as it's all closed in with a beautiful fence.

The bedrooms were perfect with a master bedroom en suite and two very comfortable bedrooms upstairs. It is a very private location with a nice area to park in front of the lodge. My two companions and I were delighted with the accommodation and the friendliness of our host, Gerard.
