Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

Meticulously clean B&B, place to sit in the evening near the fireplace. Breakfast - very tasty fruit salad with blackberries with Greek yoghurt, hearty Irish breakfast. And again - always ready to help, to advice.

Loved the location and proximity to the beach. The cottage was extremely cosy and the owners couldn't do enough to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Great recommendations for food locally. Looking forward to booking again.

Very cosy little place by the lake. Perfect for 2 people. Had gorgeous view to the lake. Very private place so you have total privacy there. Had 2 donkeys outside the windows so that was a fun attraction. Interior was super classy and lovely to look at. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

This property didn’t appear in our original search when I filtered for a couple plus an infant—but once I removed the infant filter, it popped up. And I’m so glad it did! The place was absolutely gorgeous. It was so spotless my husband was convinced we were the first guests to ever stay there. It took showing him 26 previous reviews to finally convince him otherwise 🤣 We chose this property because our plan was to explore beyond Galway, and having our own car made it ideal. The free parking right outside the entrance was a huge bonus—it made everything so much easier. We travelled with our 16-week-old son, so privacy was important to us. We wanted a space where his crying wouldn’t disturb anyone, and this place delivered. We also needed a kettle and microwave for baby prep, so the kitchenette was exactly what we hoped for. The bed was super comfy, and the bedroom was spacious enough to fit our travel cot (55x80cm) perfectly. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, which meant we could run the Owlet baby monitor and stream shows simultaneously without a hitch. And the shower—what a dream! We all know showers can be hit or miss, but this one was a definite hit: powerful, hot water all day long. The bathroom was spacious, modern, and incredibly comfortable. All in all, this property made our mini honeymoon both relaxing and memorable. We’d absolutely recommend it—and we’ll definitely be back 💗

This little cabin near the shore of the lough was very private and relaxing. The scenery from all windows of the cabin as well as from the attached deck was unsurpassed. My stay here felt like a vacation within my vacation. One rainy day I stayed inside reading, drinking tea, and watching the light and weather change — it was one of the most memorable days of my trip! I also loved the cows, who showed up each evening around sunset to say hello, as well as the fox who would trot by occasionally and the birds. The host was very helpful, checking in each day by text to see if I needed anything.

A 15 km da Abbazia di Kylemore a Leenaun, Cedarwood Lodge Leenane mette a disposizione un alloggio con vista sul mare, WiFi gratuito e parcheggio privato gratuito. Abbiamo pernottato presso questa struttura quasi per caso e meno male che lo abbiamo fatto! Ci siamo trovati benissimo sotto ogni punto di vista, location perfetta per passare una o più notti in totale relax in un ambiente molto suggestivo. Cucina piena di accessori, camere da letto super confortevoli e bagno grande con doccia e vasca! Posizione ottima vicina sopratutto al Connemara National Park Centre. Consigliatissimo!

Basic, Warm, Cosy, Private Little Chalet offre un alloggio nella città di Caherphuca e dispone di WiFi gratuito e vista sulla montagna. It was in an idyllic country location. The personal touch by the host and hostess were especially welcomed. There was ample space for a couple. They supplied us with coffee and milk and nibbles. We felt very welcomed.
