Small, but it had everything we could ask for, and more. A lovely handwritten note from the owner and welcome sweets were waiting us! The area around the farm was beautiful, the kids walked around and saw the horses 😊 Everything was really clean and tidy.

Guests at the chalet will be able to enjoy activities in and around Hvolsvöllur, like hiking. A lovely modern cottage or tiny house on surrounded by super friendly sheep farmer families. We felt at home immediately and were lucky to have booked the same location travelling back and forth the south coast. Very close to Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss and Solheimasandur plane wreck. Arrive early and have a walk in the beautifull lush and desolate canyons right past the house. Ideal for couple or family with one or two kids. We'd now recommend to book few days in a row to roam the area.

We had incredible staying in this holiday home, it exceeded all our expectations. We stayed for 1 night, but there everything you need for even longer staying. Apartment is clean and just in the middle of the nature, it is very quite, we slept well without any disturbing. We were satisfied with outdoor shower , despite cold weather it felt warm, amazing experience. If we have the chance we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. Very romantic place.
