Wonderful cottages, equipped with everything you might need to relax and enjoy dinner in a super nice environment. Hot tube was fantastic, cottages are spread far from each other; the views are unbelievable, a little paradise in the nature. The owners were super nice to give us a second cottage at a friendly price because the 2 bed room one was allready booked. On top, they allowed us to stay till 4PM as we had an unforeseen issue with out car. We will certainly come back!

Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Cozy, comfortable setting overlooking the fjord. Would gladly stay here again (seriously, I almost don't want you to book this place, just so it's available to stay in the next time we're in Iceland, lol...)

The houses are beautifully designed with high quality materials and are perfectly heated, making them super cozy and comfortable. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning! The host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home and the breakfast was simply delicious. The road to get there isn’t the easiest, but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive. Plus, the sky is dark enough to see the northern lights and we were lucky enough to witness them - an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality stay.

Bygghamar se nachází v destinaci Stykkishólmur a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a výhled na jezero. It's one of the best places we've ever stayed at. On the outside you don't really expect quite what you get once you enter. The place is very new and modern, perfectly clean and tidy. And the views, those views of the nearby lake and the mountains in the distance are just out of this world. There are two big windows in the living room from where, sitting on the sofa, one could relax and breathe in the beauty of the nature. The place has everything one might need, plus even more. Aside from the full stack kitchen, the very comfortable bed, the nice bathroom and the good size living room, power sockets everywhere you need one, the owners have also provided a hair dryer, several board games, some additional hygienic products and a very easy to understand sorting of the waste with separate buckets, something that tourists need guidance as every country has their own rules. Of course, free parking is available in front. The villa is just 6 minutes away by car from this beautiful town at the sea, with its famous lighthouse at the top of a hill. Highly recommended and thank you for the warm welcome.

A beautiful and very modern cabin in a serene setting with almost no one around. Exceptional attention to detail with nothing left to chance. Excellent shower and bathroom. Very spacious, super modern even by hotel standards, with a really comfy bed. Top to bottom glass walls with beautiful views over the bay with seals (telescope included!) - watching them was great! Supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were wonderful. If you are the area and looking for peace and quiet, look no further - very highly recommended!

The cabin is full of thoughtful touches, and the kitchen is very well stocked. All lovely IKEA items. There are many places to walk and the cabin is within walking distance of The Rockin' Troll Restaurant which was great! We highly recommend!

The location was great, in the quiet area, the place was very nice and comfortable. Beautiful views. Hot tub was ready to use and it was great to be able to soak in the evening.

The house is beautifully appointed. Beds are so comfortable and there is a hot tub and a sauna. You can make a great meal in the kitchen and the relax outside looking at an incredible view with a glass of wine. The perfect place to unwind. Excellent blinds for bright summer nights. Lots of great hiking and natural attractions to see. Recommend checking out the tours organized by Hotel Husafell
