Plus they really went out of their way to help me get to my next location - including calling the bus companies to make reservations. It's not luxurious but that wasn't what I needed. Cozy and convenient to get to snowboarding, it was great!

There’s a shuttle bus that takes us to the slope (less than 5 min drive away) that runs at 8, 815, 830, 845, 9, 930 every morning and then one back at 4 and 430pm. If you miss the bus you can walk, it’s not too far if the weather is ok. About a 5-10 min walk. We took a bus from the airport to rusutsu resort and were picked up by the lodge shuttle. Rusutsu is not a very happening place après ski wise so we mostly just had konbini dinners. You can dine at rusutsu resort also if you wish, the restaurants open quite late and there’s a bar with live jazz as well

We loved the proximity of the slopes We hired three of the 5 chalets, all had their own entrances and so were great for 3 groups of 4 people. The sitting room area meant all 12 of us could meet and eat together. Would highly recommend if skiing in Furano. To get to the main supermarkets in Furano you need a car. We managed perfectly by hiring one car and most of the group getting the airport shuttle which stops fairly close by

Location super close to Hanazono - walkable in a pinch, otherwise 2 minute drive. You will need to rent a car if you stay here, unless you plan only to eat at the resort. Good access to restaurants and shops in Kutchan. The cabin is beautiful and warm. Love the all-wood construction, and all the cute accents with branches and sticks. The bath is comfortable, no worries about hot water, and the kitchen is compact and good to cook simple meals. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating!
