Everything was impeccable and the spaces are all very cozy. The private bath was a such a treat. We loved the views from the room and shared spaces as the house is next to the forest. Akira is an awesome host. Even though we stayed here during green (and rainy) season, he gave us lots of recommendations of things to do around the area. He speaks English fluently so communication was very easy. Can’t recommend enough!

My husband and I didn't expect to be spoilt rotten by his spectacular host abilities - from transporting us to and from the bus terminal, to cooking our daily breakfast, to pointing out the best slopes, sorting out ski/snowboard rentals and issues, even lending us bus money when we didn't have enough on the last day (which we paid back promptly). The room cleaning service was also very prompt. He even gave us onsen tickets on the last day??? There are no words to describe how grateful we are, no idea what we've done to deserve this. Rooms were super clean, neat, heated, and showering facilities were amazing. There was a dry room where our rented equipment were dropped off and picked up. The bus stop to Happo One (Nakiyama) slopes were just out the front door. This has been the best accommodation experience in our lives and we definitely will be back. It truly felt like a cosy home away from home. Thank you Mr Chan from the bottom of our hearts!

The staff is super nice, picked me up from bus terminal to the hostel for free. The host is also super nice to drive me back to bus terminal when I check out so that I can catch up the bus to Nagano station. Highly recommend traveler to pay a visit and stay there.

Marushige is gelegen in Nozawa Onsen op 22 km van skigebied Ryuoo Ski Park, en biedt accommodatie met airconditioning en gratis WiFi. De lodge biedt een Amerikaans ontbijt of Aziatisch ontbijt. I loved everything here. Usually lodge has only Japanese futon in tatami room but we slept comfortably in bed. Breakfast was tasty and hospitality was incredible. They also have sauna 😍

Pension Belnina bevindt zich in Hakuba in de regio Nagano, dicht bij wintersportgebied Happo One en busterminal Hakuba Happo. Helpful and friendly host that took good care of us and recommended ski resorts/restaurants. There are two private onsen in the property to have a proper bath after a full day of snowboarding/skiing. And the breakfast was amazing as well

ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B is gelegen in Chino en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een terras en een bar. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Shiga Kogen Lodge ligt in Yamanouchi, op 20 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. Iedere unit heeft een zitgedeelte en een eetgedeelte. MOKO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Meals were amazing. Would come back a million times over.
