It was the best decision ever. Even though the location of the house was far from town but my family and I love the house so much. They also provide van shuttle to Kawaguchiko station.

Fuji-Q Highland is 15 km away and Lake Kawaguchi is 19 km from the chalet. The property was remote but accessible since we had a vehicle. Despite the weather our expectations were met. The views (even though it was snowing and overcast and we didn’t see Fujisan) were unobstructed and beautiful. I would love to come back during warmer months for more recreational activities. We would have loved to use the bbq on the terrace if the weather was better but the snow storm kept us inside.

Location is great, you can see Mt. Fuji from the site. I stay in the Pao and did not expect it's so spacious and comfy. The BBQ is interesting - staff was very helpful and showed me how to set up a charcoal fire; food is also impeccable. I went there to run the Kawaguchiko marathon and asked the reception for taxi booking. The hotel staff told me it's very hard to book a taxi now but someone from the site offered to give my a ride on the morning of the race day. I'm really really grateful for the amazing overall experience.
