The food was great, the service was superb and the location is incredible. We were only booked for one night (Sept. 15/23) and arrived after dark, which was a real shame as we found out the next morning when we woke up to the incredible views from the balconies of our 'tents'! And even though we got there after the dinner sitting, the staff were so welcoming and they had kept the kitchen open for us and accommodated our request for a lighter meal than planned. The manager, James Ndung'u and his entire staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely happy to have us stay with them. The rooms/tents are second to none with all the conveniences of home. This holiday home has a private pool, a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is situated 10 km from Egerton Castle. Extremely beautiful house and surrounding areas. The resort property had everything you need and was always clean and well cared for. They even come and clean the house every two days. The lodge restaurant was incredible and they were so accommodating. The food was delicious too. I recommend ordering ahead of time or expect the food to take a little time, but it’s definitely worth the wait.

The food was great, nice bar, the facilities were exceptional, but most of all I loved the staff. They went out of their way to make sure we everything. Especially Charles! He went over and above, Mary at the restaurant as well.
