Surrounded by the Black River Natural Park and the mountains of Chamarel, Lakaz Chamarel Exclusive Lodge offers sweeping ocean views. The lodge is 6 km from La Goulette village. WOW. First of all, the owners/managers and staff are so friendly and welcoming. When you drive into the hotel grounds it is like arriving in some kind of garden of Eden. They have beautifully landscaped the grounds so it’s full of a diversity of native plants and birds, even better than the botanic gardens in many ways! If I had been there longer I would have enjoyed using the fantastic gym facilities and free yoga classes. I had one of the Mountain View rooms with a private pool and it was incredible. One of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. It was large with a spacious terrace. Gorgeous outdoor shower. They left body oil and scrub which was a really nice touch. There was a really nice shared pool area too which was never busy. I really enjoyed sitting after dinner next to the fire pit and reading my book. The sky was clear with a great view of the stars and at dusk you could see all the fruit bats flying over. The view bar was really good, great cocktails and lots of free snacks brought round! And of course a great view. I drove down to Le Morne beach which was gorgeous and had some good snorkeling right off it. Much quieter than other beaches I visited further up the coast. I went to the geo park and waterfall which were lovely. With more time and some cooler temperatures I would have liked to have explored some of the hiking around. Amazing place I will recommend to friends and family, I hope to get the chance to go back.

Set 13 km from Paradis Golf Club, Tree Top View Lodge offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Huge recommendation! You are in super near to many tourist sites and some great stretches of beach. But you are also in a wonderful lodge, with a view into a tropic valleyscape. Top tips: walk the petit piton and go for a sundowner at Lakaz.

Imagine waking up early in the morning, grabbing a coffee, be greeted by two lovely dogs coming to say hi, the sound of birds and the distant noise of the waves. You walk for 3 minutes and you arrive on a beautiful beach, most of the time almost empty,. You can use the kayak, the surf board, bodyboard available at the house, whenever you want to go and see the dolphins even if they often come to the shore. Sanjana and Julien are adorable, so are their 2 kids. We got some fresh eggs coming from their adventurous chicken, they were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. There is a barbecue that we used by the beach…We had an incredible stay and we cannot wait to come again ! Tamarin bay is so much better than Flic en Flac and you have great food options nearby when you spend your day at the beach. The house is located in a secured and quiet place, it’s a fantastic option to discover Mauritius by offering a peaceful space to rest.

Aia ja konditsioneeriga Between2Waters Chalet car asub Tamarinis, 3,8 km kaugusel Tamarina golfiväljakust ja 23 km kaugusel Domaine Les Pailles'ist. The property’s location is just perfect and led to instant relaxation & Anil and his daughter are truly wonderful hosts. The hut is equipped with everything you could wish for and more and it’s just the perfect morning activity to go out with the kayak (that you can use for free) and swim with the dolphins that come to the bay every morning. Furthermore, it’s a very secure place and there plenty of restaurants close by. We would definitely stay here again.

Konditsioneeriga Holiday Surf Lodge asub Tamarinis, 700 meetri kaugusel Tamarini rannast ja 1,1 km kaugusel Black Riveri rannast. Apartemendis on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja kohapeal saab tasuta parkida. The apartment is great, with terrace and everything you need. Different lights incide the house make it cosy. Host was very kind, reply quickly, always interested in my comfortable staying. Kitchen is full equipped, bed is soft, there are always internet and hot water. Thank you so much, it was pleasure to spend my time here!
