There are only three cabins looking at the lagoon. It is very calm and quiet, we spent ours swimming with our kids and just looking at the birds. The cabin is spacious and nice, beds are comfy. We loved the design. There is a coffee machine and a refrigerator which was super helpful since there is no restaurant. But you can get good food in the guest house next door. Bear in mind it is about a 10 min drive to the town which we did about twice a day, for food, groceries or attractions. The staff was super nice. We would definitely come again!

The house is very comfortable and it has lots of amenities to make your stay very cozy. It was easy to get to and from there you can walk to different places in Bacalar. Also, the communication with the host was very good so no issues to check in or out.

The air conditioner was a welcomed sight! Cute set up in room. You get your own fridge and coffee maker. It’s truly perfect and super affordable. We felt so safe! Andrea was so helpful and answered my million questions. Truly one of my favorite places now! Tip tier! This was my first air bnb experience and I am so happy!

A Tulum, Yaxchen Tulum Cabañas & Cenote mette a disposizione alloggi a 3 stelle con accesso a un giardino e terrazza. This is an amazing find, it’s so peaceful and tranquil and a beautiful location. The cabanas are simple but comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and she made pancakes for the children even though they weren’t on the menu! They were very attentive and so relaxed. Convenient location, compared to other hotels and in the depths of the jungle. We would definitely come back to this place!

However, I highly recommend opting for the boat ride—it's a much smoother and faster alternative. Once you arrive, the place is perfect for unwinding. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. It’s the ideal place to relax and escape, with every detail contributing to a truly memorable experience. If you are planning on going, i recommend minimum 2 nights.
