If you want to see actual farm life with close family contact, but want to enjoy good food and comfortable accommodation at the same time, go there. Kathrin and Florian are marvellous hosts, told us a lot of the history of the farm and their families, how their farm is operated today including all the struggles and ways into the future. Highly interesting and personal. Tons of different animals (farm and wild life) We also enjoyed the farm and night drives. Sorry not to be able to give more than 10 points.

Midgard se nachází v destinaci Khorusepa a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi, venkovní bazén, fitness centrum a zahradu. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. This trip with my sister was my second visit to Midgard. Our first visit was in 2018 with our mother to celebrate her 60th birthday, we were so impressed then. We love how the property has been maintained, healthy animals, upgrades being continuously made to the grounds. The friendly and helpful staff! We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, the deep tissues massage was the best I ever had, the horse ride with Milo was an experience. Our game ride tour guide was knowledgeable, we saw Impalas, Giraffes (one pregnant), blue and black wildebeests etc. The food was amazing! Thank you to the staff at Midgard for a lovely stay, worth every penny!

With a variety of game and bird species, Waterberg Wilderness - ONE Namibia is located 90 km east of Otjiwarongo. This private nature reserve offers views of the mountain plateau and Kalahari plains. We stayed in one of the basic "tent rooms" which overall are designed to give a glamping experience - everything needed for a good night sleep in a minimalstic setting. Comfortable bed, clean spacious room, nice tent window openings to enjoy the sunrise and nature sounds. The view from the room and the restaurant was simply superb. The restaurant chefs went beyond to accomodate food restrictions and, overall, the regular and special menus were excellent. Ultimately, what makes this place overall stand out and totally worth staying at are its location, the views, and the unqiue activities (rhino tracking on foot!).
