The place was in the best possible location! The pool and bar area were great! It is very close to the entrance gate of Soussesvlei, and the cottage was clean and spacious. The bed was large and super comfy, and the staff were very friendly and polite. Overall, a great stay!

If you are looking for a place to stay when visiting sesriem and sossusvlei dont look any further! this lodge was spectacular, it really exceeded our expectations, from the pictures you can't really tell how beautiful this place is. we arrived late in the evening and the staff waited for us and served us dinner at 23.00, including two vegan options since i requested them once i booked the property. the swimming pool is breathtaking and the rooms are so spacious and beautiful. the location is amazing and the breakfast and the meals served there are simply perfect.

From the moment he picked us up, he made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. He thought about our itinerary of activities, our meals, accommodates changes in our schedule and even liaised with the kitchen on providing lunch bags for our journey back. Wolwedans and the NamibRand Nature Reserve in general is an experience of a lifetime. The nature, the values of Wolwedans to the food, the night sky, the knowledge of each staff member. We even received a sweet letter and sparkling wine as it was our honeymoon. This place is a 10/10

From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a special place — peaceful, breathtaking, and full of heart. The scenery was so beautiful that the sundowner almost brought me to tears; it was one of those rare moments that truly stays with you. The staff were exceptional — caring, attentive, and genuinely kind. You could feel that they truly wanted to make every moment perfect, and they did. Their warmth and thoughtfulness made us feel completely at home. The trip to the dunes was an absolute highlight. Our guide, Paolo, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, which made the experience even more meaningful. Everything about Hoodia Lodge felt deeply personal and special. It’s one of those rare places that touches your heart — a place I would return to in a heartbeat. It truly felt like home.

It has warm and cosy atmosphere. The food was so delicious, the bar was a meeting point with people living there. The staff at dinner did some dancing and singing and it was so touching and genuine. They had a great organization that allows you to leave early for the daily activities. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
