Northwood Motor Lodge is a 4-star motel on the edge of Christchurch, only 8km from the airport. The motel offers modern, air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped apartment with very friendly owners. They made a real effort to help when needed and their airport shuttle service is fantastic.

This chalet was the absolute highlight of our holiday in New Zealand so far. It is a well equipped, modern, luxurious, super clean and spacious chalet type accommodation. It has absolutely everything you can think of - and the absolute highlight are of course the animals! What a joy to have then right next to you and being able to feed them by yourself! Also super lovely to have complimentary drinks and breakfast ready in the fridge. The hosts are very kind. If we ever come back to NZ then we would definitely come back here! Top recommendation!

Location - Great location to explore Lake Tekapo, Mount Cook and surrounding areas Hosts - very helpful and kind. They were willing to meet me halfway on a very late request from me. They did not have to do this. Chalet - very nice and cozy. High quality items provided in the chalet If I go back to Lake Tekapo, Sunset Chalet will be my first choice.

The room was airy with two separate sliding doors giving access to the garden and decks with tables and chairs for dining outdoors. The room got the morning sun. The bathroom was spacious, and two glass walls of the shower opened right up. The breakfast was laid out for the guests from 8 to 9am, and included mostly breads and sugary things and dairy, which is typical for European breakfasts. I don't eat sugar or dairy, but managed to find enough: boiled eggs, fresh fruit and cold cuts.

Offering mountain views, Pukaki Air Lodge in Twizel offers accommodation, barbecue facilities, a terrace and a shared lounge. Complimentary WiFi is available. Amazing property. I would 100% recommend this little lodge to stay while visiting Twizel. Spacious, clean and modern rooms. And Mary the host truly wonderful.
