Susanna is super friendly, the view is truly incredible and the hot showers and great kitchen were much appreciated after a bike ride nearby! Susanna takes your bags when you arrive (and depart) and there is a short (5ish mins) walk up to the property but it’s so worth it if you’re able to do so. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope we can come back again :)

Set on a 5-acre hillside next to Paparoa National Park, Hydrangea Cottages offer free Wi-Fi and some offer stunning G views of the Tasman Sea or the native garden landscapes of the South Island. The cottages were each unique and private. Location is great. Easy hikes right from property. Great views and sounds from ocean

A last minute booking as our plans had to change.Owner greeted us on arrival, friendly and helpful. Room was great, very clean. Super shower. Breakfast was exceptional. Altogether a lovely stay. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Provided you like nature, this is a fabulous location to witness the sunset and listen to the birds. Overall a great place to stay near Westport.
