Akwaba lodge is located at the middle of Isla Solarte about a 10 minute boat ride ($10/person) from Bocas del Toro. It is on a hill overlooking the water and Isla Bastimentos Breakfast is included in your stay. Lunch dinner and beverages are available at a very reasonable price. The lodge is an eco style lodge surrounded by jungle. Though there are no hiking trails through the jungle you are serenaded by the sounds of birds. Kayaks, SUP and snorkeling equipment is available for your use. Your host and their children are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant and wonderful experience. Things to know, the lodge is off the grid with good WiFi and does not have AC, but we were comfortable with our open windows and ceiling fan. The lodge accepts credit cards, but tours and water taxis are cash only so bring US dollars. Side trips to Red Frog Beach and Green Acres Chocolate are a must. Pack insect repellent and anti-itch cream.

The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, always greeting us with a warm smile and offering helpful recommendations for local attractions. The owners are incredibly attentive and truly care about providing a memorable experience for their guests. They were always willing to help with any requests and gave us great insights into the area. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. The environment is breathtaking. The resort is nestled in a stunning location, surrounded by lush nature and serene views that are perfect for relaxation. Whether it was lounging by the pool, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, or exploring the local beauty, every moment at Ataraxia was pure bliss. I can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a boutique experience in Panama with exceptional service and a perfect getaway atmosphere, Ataraxia Resort is the place to be. Can’t wait to return!

Wonderful place, if you are looking for peace and nature, this is where you should stay. Rooms are very comfortable, the hosts are amazing, breakfast and dinner were also delicious. Dogs are very friendly and cute. 15 minutes boat from Bocas Del Toro downtown.

The rustic and ecological Tesoro Escondido Lodge & Cabinas offers accommodation in Bluff Beach. Located in a secluded area of Colon. Bocas Town is 5 km from the property. Free Wi-Fi is available. L'alloggio era molto accogliente, immerso nel verde, dove abbiamo potuto ammirare diversi bradipi. A pochi metri c'è la spiaggia privata, è possibile fare il bagno in relativa sicurezza. Dico relativa sicurezza perché playa bluff è una baia aperta e ci sono onde davvero imponenti. Qui c'è una piccola barriera formata dagli scogli e si può fare il bagno nell'acqua molto bassa, ma è comunque un posto estremamente suggestivo, rilassante ed appagante per gli occhi, pur non potendo nuotare o fare snorkeling. È possibile passeggiare sul sentiero esterno dove ci scimmie e uccelli di ogni tipo. La camera funzionale e pulita. Il cibo era fatto davvero con cura, tutto squisito! Lo staff estremamente cordiale.

We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

She deserves 10 out of 10 stars - amazingly thorough communication, quick responses, accurate information, super friendly & helpful. She knows everyone in Bocas and helped us set up everything from a private boat tour to a birthday cake. It's worth booking here just for her knowledge! Location - in Playa Bluff, a 25 min taxi which costs between $15-$20 each way depending on the time of day. You can also take a colectivo for $3.50/person until about 6pm when it stops running. We loved the more remote location but it's a long bumpy road which may not work for everyone. There are a couple of restaurants within super easy walking distance and a gorgeous beach with big waves. Howler monkeys were in the trees out front along with lots of gorgeous Oropendula birds, agoutis, etc. The house has a fantastic front porch/dining area where we hung out during rain showers. We didn't cook, so can't speak to kitchen amenities but there's an Italian coffeemaker and a fridge.

The corals are right in front of the house, perfect for snorkeling, but always stay careful to preserve this amazing nature. The hosts were really welcoming and helped us with the boat transfers. The villa proposes kayaks, paddles and snorkeling equipment, which is very pleasant. We enjoyed a great view from our room. The dinner option was delicious too !

Jungle Bluff Beach Paradise - Jungle House prevede un alloggio a Bocas del Toro dotato di WiFi gratuito e vista sul giardino, più giardino e terrazza. One of our best experience in Bocas. The host was really nice and helped us with a lot of infos. There was also a Sloth in the garden and we were really really close to the nature. The breakfest was also very nice.

A 1,3 km da Playa Y Griega, Chalet Tropical offre un giardino, una terrazza e alloggi climatizzati provvisti di balcone e WiFi gratuito. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. Posizione fantastica. Con la giungla alle spalle si sentivano solo i rumori della natura. È stata una bella esperienza. Miriam proprietaria fantastica ci ha dato tanti suggerimenti su cosa fare, vedere, dove mangiare. Ci ha fatto avvistare anche tanti animali. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi desidera stare nella natura ma allo stesso tempo vicino al centro e ai servizi.
