Akwaba lodge is located at the middle of Isla Solarte about a 10 minute boat ride ($10/person) from Bocas del Toro. It is on a hill overlooking the water and Isla Bastimentos Breakfast is included in your stay. Lunch dinner and beverages are available at a very reasonable price. The lodge is an eco style lodge surrounded by jungle. Though there are no hiking trails through the jungle you are serenaded by the sounds of birds. Kayaks, SUP and snorkeling equipment is available for your use. Your host and their children are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant and wonderful experience. Things to know, the lodge is off the grid with good WiFi and does not have AC, but we were comfortable with our open windows and ceiling fan. The lodge accepts credit cards, but tours and water taxis are cash only so bring US dollars. Side trips to Red Frog Beach and Green Acres Chocolate are a must. Pack insect repellent and anti-itch cream.

The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, always greeting us with a warm smile and offering helpful recommendations for local attractions. The owners are incredibly attentive and truly care about providing a memorable experience for their guests. They were always willing to help with any requests and gave us great insights into the area. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. The environment is breathtaking. The resort is nestled in a stunning location, surrounded by lush nature and serene views that are perfect for relaxation. Whether it was lounging by the pool, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, or exploring the local beauty, every moment at Ataraxia was pure bliss. I can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a boutique experience in Panama with exceptional service and a perfect getaway atmosphere, Ataraxia Resort is the place to be. Can’t wait to return!

Pure Roots si trova a Bastimentos, a 800 metri da Playa de Carenero Noreste e 2,3 km da Playa de Carenero. Prevede un ristorante, la vista sul mare e il WiFi gratuito. We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

We really enjoyed our stay at Eclypse de Mar. The bungalow was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The view from the room was absolutely beautiful. We loved the direct access to the water and used the complimentary kayaks and paddleboards it was a great way to explore the surroundings.
