The facilities are basic but do the trick. Room was also very comfortable for spending a night.

The room was also very nice and the restaurant area very cosy. Edwin was super helpfull and very kind, the food was good and we really enjoyed our stay! This is the most beautiful place we have stayed, would definitely recommend!

Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. The llahuar lodge is one of the best hostel lodges I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a long hike to get there but it’s so worth it for the tranquil and natural hot springs at the base of the canyon. The food provided at the restaurant is tasty and reasonable. The family running the place is incredibly warm and kind, the best Peru has to offer. Try to take a dip after dark to enjoy the Andean night sky, shooting stars, and the Milky Way above.
