We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens/teenagers), we booked 2 of the pendant domes. They picked us up in Ollantaytambo, and took us on a quad ride to their reception (the kids said quad ride was a blast!). We were welcomed with soft blanket and tea by the heater. We needed to have at least 1 adult in each pod; the boys were with my husband, and they had to wear harness to climb to their pod. The jacuzzi was amazing, and when we woke up in the morning - the view....You have to see it for yourself. Everyone should experience it at least once in a lifetime.

Llactapata Lodge overlooking Machu Picchu - camping - restaurant se nachází v destinaci Salcantay a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled na hory. The selling point is certainly the view! The lodge is nestled on a hill and you can see Machu Picchu from a distance. The room was clean and comfortable but very basic. We had a nice area to sit outside and watch the sunset. There was a crazy intense storm that evening and it was an unforgettable and amazing show to watch from the cabin! I was very impressed with dinner, especially since it was just a father and son (I think?) running the lodge and restaurant and they covered dinner for over 20 people. It was a little late to come out, but it was the best meal I had during our Salkantay trek. Hats off to you!

You really get a whole experience already beginning with the climb. I already paid one of the guides to take photos. That meant that I could enjoy the climb and the stay without thinking of taking pictures. It is definitely worth it. The meals were outstanding and there were plenty. The pod is a ‘once in a lifetime’ kind of experience. And even though it Can be cold (I visited during the Winter in Peru) take your time and go to the roof of the pod and look at the stars. Also, have in mind that the facilities are primitive but works Well (you are hanging several hundred meters over the Ground) The guides were fantastic. Their english is good, and you felt very safe with Them.

I couldn't wish a better landing to the Ands. The place is great, very quiet village, clean, nicely decorated and easy to get to (you can catch colective transport from Pisac comunity museum for 2 soles, you can also hire a motorbike taxi or I was happy to walk down the hill to Pisac). There is a small shop nearby to get water and food, the plae has well equipped kitchen and wifi. The host is very friendly and helpful. I was amazed how clear the night sky is at night to see the stars. Also there is a archeological site in near distance, much bigger and quieter then Machu Picchu.

PERU QUECHUA'S LODGE Riverside nabízí restauraci, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Bus Station se nachází 19 km odtud. The room was big and clean. The owners were very welcoming and provided a good breakfast. Also they provided us with great information where to go around Ollantaytambo.

Amazing choice The owners have been so nice to me! They took me out for dinner and drove me to the airport in the morning! Very greatful for everything!!!

The location, the food, the staff the activities. It was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. A special thanks to Bryan and Alan for being so welcoming & helpful throughout. Would strongly recommend anyone visiting the area to stay in Starlodge for a unique experience

This property exceeded our expectations in so many ways. It appeared even more spacious and inviting than the photos suggested. During our six-night stay, we felt incredibly comfortable, almost as if we were at a 5-star resort. We intentionally chose this location for its proximity to Ollantaytambo while offering a peaceful escape from the town center. We even enjoyed a scenic walk to the Ollantaytambo citadel one morning. Vanessa was an exceptional host, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. She went above and beyond, offering a complimentary drive to the train station on our Machu Picchu excursion and even offering a return pickup. Each morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast featuring freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade granola, eggs, bread, and more. We did have to request smaller portions after the first day as the initial servings were quite generous. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this place to other travelers.
