Posto molto bello, in riva al fiume, ubicato alla fine di un paesino di pescatori, santo Tomas. La struttura offre la possibilità di navigare il fiume in canoa o in barca, o di fare escursioni nella selva. La struttura mette a disposizione un'area relax con amache dove si può ammirare il fiume e i dintorni in tranquillità. Piccola nota negativa, il paesino di santo Tomas che precede la struttura può essere un po' rumoroso, e la musica ad alto volume potrebbe contrastare con la quiete della struttura. Viene servito pesce fresco pescato in giornata. Colazione e pranzo semplici, non molto abbondanti, ma buoni.

The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.

The food is excellent, the staff are amazing. It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.
