It rained when I was there so I couldn’t use the balcony but the views were amazing nonetheless and they had little bows in the toilet roll which I thought was really cute

Walking distance to the bus stop for airport connectivity and to the numerous, restaurants , cafes, old town, Christmas market... Wonderful accomodation. Very clean. All amenities are thoughtfully present in the room . Comfortable beds. No disturbance at all in spite of the central location. Very responsive hostess. Pre-check instructions were great. Felt very welcome although I couldn't meet her during my three day stay. Everything was as promised. Very good value for money. This will be my first choice if I ever come back to Funchal in future.

The cottage was amazing! Perfect for our friend group of 3 people. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we might need. The grounds were beautiful and there was ample parking for our car. The staff were helpful and responsive and the breakfast was amazing.

The apartment very nice and the kitchen is well equiped so it’s easy too cook meals if sometimes you want to eat dinner at home.The location it’s a very nice village surounded by mountains and with restaurants with magnificient view.

This recently renovated chalet is located 28 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools and 36 km from Girao Cape. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the chalet's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Fantastic location with a great view over the valley. Superfriendly host who made us feel very welcome. Well-equipped house, very clean and comfortable. Furthermore there is a levada next to the house that you can follow for a lovely hike. We didn't see a single person there which made it the best hike of Madeira for us!

Location was excellent for our needs, away from any crowds and in a peaceful area but within a reasonable and pleasant walk along the promenade to local town with good restaurants and bars. The space and facilities within the property were excellent, kitchen had everything we could possibly need, bed extremely comfortable and a really good and luxurious shower and separate bath. The pool and outdoor spaces were perfect with sun on the property for the majority of the day until early evening. The entire place was really clean and attractive and well kept gardens an added bonus. Our host, Richard, was extremely helpful and approachable and responded to any queries promptly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again should we return to Madeira.

It was much roomier than we expected and the view over the bay was stunning, though the drive up is not for the faint hearted. The kitchen is set up for proper cooking, and the outdoor BBQ was also a perk.
