L’hébergement Northernlight cabin 2 se trouve à Kiruna, à seulement 22 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Gare centrale de Kiruna. Superb, quiet cabin, with a stunning view over a frozen river. Great location to relax and take in the nature. Short 15 mins drive from the airport, easily accessible with a rental car, with the cabin being both remote and actually not too far of a drive from a small supermarket etc. Extremely nice and helpful owners, with Cecilia being super warm and always at the ready to help, living on the same property. Very clean cabin, with a great high bed, incl.a remote-control adjustable matress and a huge panoramic window above the bed, for that perfectly relaxing viewing point for aurora. Highly recommendable !

L’hébergement Northernlight cabin se trouve à Kiruna, à respectivement 19 km et 22 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Gare routière de Kiruna et LKAB Visitor Centre. The owners were so nice! Our car got stuck on our way to the hotel, and they drove out to help us. Overall, they were super sweet and helpful throughout the stay. The bed was also really comfortable and it was nice and cozy in the cabin. I truly love this place!

Situé à Kiruna et offrant une vue sur le lac, l’établissement Arctic Gourmet Cabin comprend un service de prêt de vélos, un jardin, une terrasse, un restaurant et un bar. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Situé à Abisko, l'hôtel Abisko Mountain Lodge se trouve à seulement 2 minutes de marche de la gare d'Abisko Östra. We booked a cottage and it was so so lovely! Kitchen was super clean and had everything you need to cook a meal (there is also a supermarket nearby), the couches were comfortable, bathroom was also clean and the beds were cosy and comfy! There were electrical heaters in the rooms which were more than sufficient to heat the cottage and it had a nice little terrace. Use of the sauna and showers was also very nice, it was clean and well arranged. We had the breakfast in the main hotel and it was very good, with a great arrangement of food and drinks. After we had to check out we only had a train a few hours later but we were welcome to stay in the lounge area of the hotel, which was very comfortable and had some games! I will definitely come back here!

The property offers a magical and unforgettable experience where you can live among reindeer. We stayed in a large tent with a private toilet and felt very comfortable. In winter, you need to keep the stove burning constantly; otherwise, it can get quite cold. However, even this adds to the unique and enjoyable experience. Dinner was very satisfying in a great atmosphere.

Entouré par la forêt, l'Aurora Camp Kurravaara est situé juste à côté de la rivière Torne, à 13 km de l'aéroport de Kiruna. Les installations comprennent un sauna et une terrasse meublée. Our lake view cottage was exactly as in the pictures. Aurora Camp is in a beautiful location in the wilderness and a great spot to see the Northern Lights. Unfortunately when we stayed it was cloudy. Staff were very welcoming. Aurora camp offers the opportunity to experience sleeping in an igloo. There is no running water and the toilet / showers are communal (clean) in the main area about 200m from the main part of the camp. I used the sauna for my shower and had a snow bath - very refreshing. The drive down the road can be a little scary, so just take it easy.
