The rooms are spotlessly clean thoughtfully furnished and very comfortable. The coffee setup in the room was very impressive. The congee at breakfast (made with rice, meat and veg from the farm) was simple and refined. It might be the best pork meatball in soup I’ve had in Thailand. I would go back just for another bowl!

The apartment is a standalone little house with large windows overlooking a beautiful private garden, where we had breakfast every morning surrounded by trees and birds. The furniture is made of warm wood, the bed is comfortable, and it has all the necessary amenities to make you feel at home. The location is ideal if you want to explore Old Sukhothai: less than a 5-minute walk from the spectacular temple ruins, as well as the nightlife of the night market and the main street. Despite this, the apartment is on an incredibly quiet street where the only sounds are the animals around. Lastly, the host’s attention was unbeatable. She helped us with everything we asked for (motorbike rental, laundry, taxi to the airport…) Always with a smile, she made us feel the warmth of her hospitality. She also shared a folder full of recommendations for restaurants, tourist spots, and services. Sukhothai has been a wonderful surprise. We recommend getting lost on a scooter through the surrounding rice fields and visiting the temples at sunset. And our stay at The Yard made everything truly perfect. Thank you, and we hope there will be a second time!

Chertarn Homestay ligt op 43 km van Tha Pae-poort en 43 km van nachtbazaar Chiang Mai, en biedt gratis WiFi en een terras. Situated in a beautiful surroundings , with running rivers , the houses are very pretty. However the interior design not well thought, there are many dust collectors on the shelves, no bedside table on one side, nowhere to put suite cases.The bath tab is just for decoration. There is not enough hot water . Some of the nets are torn. No mosquitoes door. We stay in some homestays so much cheaper than Chertan , and the facilities there can be compared to 5 stars. Unfortunately Chertan house doesn't fit to this category. Be aware the road to it very steep

We also appreciated having our own parking lot. The best part was the location—close to Walking Street for easy access, but far enough to avoid the noise, giving us a peaceful retreat. We really loved our stay here!

I had one of the best meals that I have had in Thailand here. Super nice people. A little bit out of the way but nice and quiet.

Amazing view, staff very helpful, friendly animals on site, and perfect location if you would like you get away from craziness for a day. Location not too far from Chiang Rai city.

The spacious balcony is truly the highlight, you could spend the whole day there simply soaking in the changing sky. Inside, the kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need, making it easy to prepare meals. And after a day of relaxing or exploring, the jacuzzi was the perfect way to unwind.
