Especially the manager Mando from Egypt and the breakfast lady! The breakfast was really big and delicious!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Utupoa. After three nights, we really felt like it was our home away from home. The building is a wonder and itself worth the visit. Joyce and her team were so attentive, personable, and helpful and family-style meals were excellent. Utupoa sits directly on the beach and easily reachable by foot from the village of Matemwe. What a wonderful way for our family to get to know a corner of Zanzibar and to unwind from our adventures. Thank you, Joyce!

We visited the Zanbluu beach hotel as a family. The stay was great and unproblematic from check in to check out. The food was very tasty and varied. There were always good alternatives for vegetarians or people with gluten intolerance. the drinks, especially cocktails, were delicious. The room was always clean, the house keeping staff took good care of it. Every bed is equipped with a mosquito net, which the housekeeping staff diligently rolls up and rolls down every day. But we didn't saw not even one mosquito.The facility including the pool is also very nice. The gardeners and co try very hard to make sure everything looks great. We have been to many hotels but have rarely had such a good hotel staff that makes the greatest effort with every request. The consistently friendly and courteous staff alone is one reason why this certainly won't be our last visit. Many thanks to Nickson, Abdully, Charles, Samson and the many others who made our stay so special. Hakuna matata Zanbluu Beach !

Evergreen Bungalows is the most beautiful place on earth. The upper floor beach front bungalows are like staying in a treehouse on the beach. The bed is huge and super comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach has a daybed, table and a chair. You can walk straight on to the beach. Monkeys jump around in the trees directly outside the balcony. The food is amazing, and an incredible breakfast is included in the price. The beach, although wild and windy when we were there end July/beginning of August is stunning. Absolutely perfect!

Zanzibar Lodge asub Kiwengwa rannast 100 meetri kaugusel. Kohapeal on restoran, aed, erarand ja terrass. Puhkemajakeses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. The chef was super accommodating and the food was delicious! The room is very nice especially for the price.

Z-Love Zanzibar asub Kiwengwas, 41 km kaugusel Rahumälestusmuuseumist ja 15 km kaugusel Kichwele metsakaitsealast. Kohapeal on konditsioneeriga majutusruumid ja aed koos välibasseiniga. Nice design, warm colours. Nice location. Friendly staff.

Paje Emerald Escapes on hiljuti renoveeritud majutusasutus, mis asub Pajes, 500 meetri kaugusel Paje rannast. Kohapeal on konditsioneeri ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega toad ning privaatne parkla. I had such a fantastic experience staying at Paje Emerald Escapes! The villas are absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-designed, and a true slice of paradise. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Leslie, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. From arranging airport transfers to organizing tuk-tuk shuttles, she was constantly helpful, professional, and incredibly sweet. Her kindness really made me feel at home. I’d also love to give a special shoutout to Salim for helping me out when a few geckos made their way into the villa. He came over right away, was extremely helpful, and so kind throughout. I would absolutely stay here again—not just for the stunning villas, but because the people here genuinely care. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paje!
