The unit was clean and very comfortable, especially the beds. Showers were amazing. Modern with a big showerhead. Borehole water was so soft on your skin. Drinking water out of a tap was amazing, crystal clear water. The outdoor tub is a plus, especially at night, as the stars are exquisite. The waterfall trail is a must.

Good communication pre and during the stay. The highlight was the amazing sky with all the stars.

Offering panoramic views of the Cederburg Mountain Range, Simbavati Cederberg Ridge is located 7 km from Clanwilliam. Each suite has a private patio with mountain views. The lodge is situated near Clanwilliam but feels like hundreds of miles from anywhere. It is so quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. What we particularly appreciated about this lodge is the many activities which are offered to you: Rooibos farm tour, San art walk, small hikes to see the flora and fauna. But if you wish to do nothing, then the room and communal areas are perfect for that. Exceptional food.
