This property is superb in all regards. The hosts, Elza and Albert, are gracious, welcoming, and ever so helpful. We just returned from almost 3 weeks in South Africa, staying in a number of guest houses. Riverside was our most enjoyable stay. We regretted not having booked a longer stay at this wonderful establishment. The attention to detail in all matters of the accommodation are quite remarkable, really. This is a must stay when in the Outdshoorn/George area. The breakfast room and fare were very upscale without feeling stuffy. Food was delicious!

The food was excellent, and the wildlife was plentiful.

The tents are equipped with air conditioning, a fireplace and a private bathroom with a hot shower cabin, washbasin and flushing toilet. It was in a great location and the facilities were perfect.

We discover this Lodge in a very quite and green area withgreat views. And then we met the owner - Len - who has a amazing sense of hospitality and upgrade our stay to another level of happiness. We felt directly welcome and this feeling stays there during all our stay. The lodge was also offering and amazing dinner that we enjoyed the 2 nights with high quality food and wines. On top of that, we were surronded by lovely and friendly dogs that my children enjoyed to play with. Definitly a higly recommended place to stay.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, making the experience even more special. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in South Africa's wilderness.
