Honestly, everything! The location was ideal - 5 minutes walk from the ferry, from shops, restaurants and the nearest beach. The hotel was clean and really well organized. We had everything we wanted in our apartment. The pool was nice, the amenities are new and the view from our terrace was amazing. The breakfast was delicious, different every day. We have allergies and the breakfast was prepared based on them! The owners are amazing and we'd love to go again to their place!

Really nice and comfy place to stay. Beautiful well-kept garden. Comforttable and well equipped room with small kitchen. Big one is in the garden for everybody with lot of space to seat. Close to the beach and to the city. I I definitely recommend this place.

We were two families traveling with two 7-year-old children, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids especially loved the pool and the spacious garden, which is filled with fruit trees we had fun picking from. The host, Marinos, was exceptional—he maintains the property in spotless condition and is always nearby, making it easy to reach him whenever we needed anything. He was also incredibly kind, offering us delicious pastries in the morning even though we hadn’t opted for the breakfast. This is a wonderful place for families, and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

A hidden gem Perfect location with walking distance to Limenas for dinner and ice cream. An expansion has been made with new rooms/villas and a pool for the new part. There is a great pool for all guests as well. A fantastic garden and a lot of love and care in the interior design inside the rooms but also in public areas. Unusually good breakfast (by Greek standards) that offered everything for everyone. Everything homemade and new surprises every day. A modern coffee machine with capsules ensures morning coffee! The location is perfect, within walking distance of the city center and great restaurants, and the best beaches are just a 5-10 minute drive away. The service and hospitality were outstanding, making me feel welcomed and appreciated. I highly recommend Macedon for anyone visiting the area!

    I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Galini on Thassos Island. The hotel's location is excellent, being very close to the center, making it convenient to explore the area. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, with both the rooms and common areas kept spotless. One of my favourite features was the beautiful backyard, which provided a lovely space to relax. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made me feel very welcome. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Galini for anyone visiting Thassos Island.
