We loved how close it was to where bus dropped us off. Communication from hotel was great. Beautiful streets with lots of restaurants and bars a few minutes walk away. Room beautiful and new.

The hotel is new, but it shows that the owner really invested, this will remain a quality hotel for years to come. Never seen a cleaner hotel either. Not even speaking about the best feature: the location is great. From the roof terrace you really have a good overview on the vibrant city centre of Shkoder

We experienced true Albanian hospitality at Hotel Aleks! The whole family is so friendly and attentive. They gave us a lot of fresh figs (directly from their garden) as a welcome treat, helped us organising our transport to Valbona and provided free parking and safe luggage storage during our multi-day hike in the mountains. We also enjoyed the free bike rental to explore the city. Impressive cleanliness, exceptional helpfulness. Best hotel of our three-week journey through Albania!

The location is very wonderful, in the middle of the Boulevard Street, and everything is available around the hotel. There is a private garage for the car in the hotel courtyard. Everything was wonderful except the breakfast, which was poor and mediocre. I highly recommend it.
