The hosts were super. Although I arrived on the wrong day, they were happy to find a room for me, quite early in the morning. Guandacol is a village rather than a town, and having somebody capable to lean on, for advice was very helpful. The whole family were very courteous and helpful. Thank you Christina.

The way they are developing the town square is interesting.
The way they are developing the town square is interesting. They do call it Plaza St Martin, the historical hero of all Spanish America. But they do not call it a Plaza de Armas. Perhaps it would be too pretentious, and they have not finished it yet. Things like that do take time and money to get right, and we wish them very well in their ambition to do so. There is currently no grass and many directional stone clusters. They have got the levelling right but not quite the protective barriers need to please every visitor user to the village.
They also need to clear some of the town center irrigation channels of refuse.
It is called the
" Espacio de Memoria y Vida",
which we also respect.
