If you like beautiful views and excellent hiking possibilities, this is a place for you. Dozens of different hiking paths in different small towns located not far from each other. Recommended to book an accommodation with Stubai Super Card to enjoy free public transport and cable cars. I have skied here many times in the past 12 years and keep coming back from the states. The town exudes that fairytale alpine charm and the access to both the Stubaier Gletscher and Schlick 2000 ski areas is wonderful. The exceptionally frequent and on-time bus system in the valley is fantastic. I fly to Munich and then come by either transport van or the train to Innsbruck and then a bus up the valley. No need for a rental car! Innsbruck is only 45 minutes away by bus and a great destination for a day off from the slopes. The hotel I stayed at was fantastic. Its location surrounded by picturesque nature and mountains was breathtaking, providing stunning views from the windows. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, creating a cozy atmosphere. The facilities, including the pool and sauna, were excellent, and the cuisine was superb, with a focus on local producers. The hotel has a very convenient location with two bus stops just next to it. It took me about 20-25 minutes to get to both Stubaier Gletscher and Schlick 2000 by a ski bus. The hotel is very cozy and cute, they serve delicious breakfasts. My room was also cozy and warm, with very comfortable bed and a nice balcony.
