The hotel is really charming, every detail is taken care of, it is situated in a beautiful place and has a magical view. The hosts are really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. It is a nice little village with several playgrounds for the kids, walking paths, and other sights/sports attractions are close by car. We had a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay – it’s an ideal vacation spot for families with children. The hotel offers plenty of fun for kids: both indoor and outdoor pools, animals, a playroom, playground, and organized activities. The food was excellent, with the option of dinner as well. Don’t expect luxury, but if you’re looking for an idyllic countryside getaway in the middle of stunning mountains and fresh air, this is the perfect place. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Very friendly people (who speak both German and English), check-in went smooth and was flexible. Large & clean room and bathroom, breakfast was very nice. Sufficient free parking availability in front of the hotel and Wifi works very well. The location is on walking distance to all restaurants in the center of Altenmarkt. There was also place to store your bike. I had an excellent stay and can definitely recommend this place.

    There are many places to go for a walk or a hike in the location. We also went on high mountain hikes with the dog. It would be nice to have slightly better markings of the tourist routes, but this is not a problem of the destination but rather of the entire region. There are very nice people there, everyone greets you, smiles.
