The Torrens River flows through the city from the surrounding Mount Lofty Ranges. Public transport around the place is very good. We found the timetable and stops confusing. We managed to get on the wrong tram and also didn’t get off the bus at the right spot so found ourselves on the way back to where we’d boarded. I think a more tourist friendly printed map would be very handy. Apart from that, Glenelg, botanic gardens, museum art gallery, markets all fantastic the locals are very helpful and friendly. One week stay with 4 nights in Glenelg, 2 nights in Barossa Valley (for work conference) and 2 nights in Adelaide City. Very beautiful place and absolute joy to visit, has a very friendly, fun and easy vibe to it. So much to do for kids and adults!! Food and dining was excellent! Accomodation great!
