Arcadia is a great place to visit and to stay on Magnetic Island. The main beach, which is part of the Nature reserve, is lovely to walk around and also to see Rock Wallabies in the early evening. By taking our car over on the barge we could travel around the island to the different beaches. It has some lovely places to see, some can only be accessed by car. Arcadia is a little quieter and less touristy than the popular Horseshoe Bay. Alma Bay is a beautiful place to swim, with natural protection from stingers.
