Batemans Bay has no Visitor Information Centre. The shoreline is amazing and the sunrises are glorious. Everything is in easy reach and easily reachable within walking distance. I find the 3pm close down a small issue. Its a great place to fish and swim and very close to Sydney and Eden. The Ocean Grill Fish and Chip shop on the waterfront was great the fish fresh and beautifully cooked, the chips very moreish. Lots of inexpensive and more expensive places to eat. You definitely have to leave time for Mogo Zoo.

Well obviously Bateman's Bay's proximity to Canberra is a plus. It's an easy town to be around and has a surprising range of shops for a small place. It's still a traditional Australian beach town where so many have become too commercialised and overrun by high rise flats.

The local Council needs to seriously wake up!

The local Council needs to seriously wake up! The town is dying! I had not visited for quite a few years and expected that it would have, at the very least, somewhat improved, on any level, with the passage of time however it appears, yet again, bad local governance is making what could be a fantastic location into a forgotten and stagnant coastal backwater! Get some people on board that know how to make an area grow because clearly that position is seriously vacant!

A lovely (not so small) town catering for varying holiday and a broad range of travellers needs. The new bridge across the Clyde River must be a boon to locals and tourist alike. We ate at the Catalina Country Club which was huge, very busy on a Friday night and was very enjoyable.

Batemans Bay is one of my favourite places to visit.

Batemans Bay is one of my favourite places to visit. I always stop by The Boatshed for fresh fish and chips, it's a must! A round of social golf at Catalina Golf Course is our usual, their clubhouse café and restaurant never disappoint. The town has all the amenities we need, plenty of activities for families & children, and is centrally located to other beautiful nearby beach towns. The walks along the bay path is beautiful in the evening.

Winter in Bateman's Bay is very quiet, just the locals, so nice to get away for a few days & relax! Breakfast at Se7en Cafe by the Sea lovely, lunch at the Soldiers Club was relaxing, and quick drive to Mogo for some retail therapy! Oh & the Kangaroos lazing in the Sun at Maloney's Beach! Also get up early & see the most amazing Sunrise just walk across the Road from the appartment.

The property has a comfortable homely feeling that is vastly different from boring hotel rooms. It is surrounded by trees and wildlife (including a family of kangaroos) and is a short walk to Long Beach. The kitchen is well supplied with plates, pots and pans and the other essentials such as foil and cling wrap. The extra touches such as fresh milk for tea and coffee and a few snacks was really thoughtful. The owners were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all enquiries.

The staff were so helpful with sorting out which cabin would suite our family the best and I’m glad they did! So Thankyou. The whole place is clean and tidy, including the pool area. Lovely pool for the family and close to all places you want to travel too. Super close to the beach even the cabins in the back of park! Will be back eventually.

This hotel is great value for money. We've stayed at a lot of hotels in Batemans bay and this is our new favourite for value and convenience. You can walk to pizza, shops and bars. We had a queens bed and single. Perfect for a couple and child. Will stay again.
