Bridgetown is best visited in Autumn or Spring when the days are a little cooler. It is a lovely country town set amongst the undulating hillside with the Blackwood River running through it. It is a comfortable 3 hour drive from Perth.Guest review byRobynAustralia - 10

Loved everything about the hotel except the shower in the...
Loved everything about the hotel except the shower in the spar. Being advanced in age it was a little tricky climbing into the spar for a shower and very slippery. Otherwise really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The food was yum and the beds comfy. Photo is view from the balcony. Bridgetown is a Beautiful town and have stayed for a long weekend some years back with our horses with an Adult Riders Group. It was a really lovely ride to the Winery and back. Check in was easy. Hosts very friendly and helpful. I would recommend The Oak Tree Barn to anyone visiting Bridgetown. Sunnyhurst Winery is just across the road from the barn.
