The penguins were an essential visit and didn’t disappoint. Lots of wildlife to see. Local venues had live music and the food was wonderful. Cowes is a lovely shore side town on Phillip Island.
Cowes is a lovely shore side town on Phillip Island. It is at the far end of the island from the bridge to cross over to the island. We did a mosaics class at Mosaics by the Bay, located in Ventnor. I've been to Cowes a few times and the shopping and restaurants are very good. The beach is really nice. It is very easy to get around. It can be very busy during peak seasons. There are the penguin parade, whale watching certain times of the year, adventure parks, mini golf at Grumpy's. Eating outside in the fully enclosed sunroom meant no dramas when the kids dropped food. Air con was more than sufficient in cooling the home. The home was immaculately clean and the kitchen was well appointed. Only minutes from Cowes town centre and all the local attractions of Phillip Island.
