The property has been beautifully renovated. It is comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. It holds interesting local history and combines this with modern living. Absolutely loved it. Great local restaurants with food recommendations from the hosts. Handy general store and garage close by.

Absolutely beautiful. Views stunning and the wood burner is just delightful on a cold windy night. We found the bed very comfortable and the space well laid out. So tranquil and wished we could have stayed longer. Hosts very responsive. The Afloat studio 2 had everything we needed for a short stay. We found this the nicest accommodation out of the 4 places we chose during our 2 week holiday. It was very clean and well appointed with lovely quirks like the driftwood clothes hanger - very cool. It’s also close to great eateries - something for everyone and if you’re an oyster fan, you’ve come to the right place!

Almost everything has been said through various reviews. Spacious and very confortable cottage with a lot of amenities. Quiet place instead the location near à highway. A lot of traffic but noise was not an issue. Good items left in the fridge to prepare your breakfast. Not exactly what we préfer but we bought the complement. Have appreciated to use the laundry. For this property the cherry on the icing cake is of course the présence of 3 alpagas and 2 sheeps. Very cute and adorable. Feeding them was funny. Reason why I give a note of 10.

The location was very good; I could feel the atmosphere of Tasmania. The house faced to the sea and many rabbits were found on the ground. And the owner Alan was a very kind and calm gentleman although my English was not perfect.

Everything! Very stylish house with big living space and amazing view from all the rooms. Also didn’t expect breakfast provided by the host, all came from local produce. We’ve seen many kangaroos (or maybe wallabies) wandering around the house. Also if you step out the house when it gets really dark, like midnight, you’ll be amazed by the milky ways in the sky. We were sad that we only stayed here for one night…
