Loved the four poster bed, which was very comfortable. Bedroom was tastefully decorated in heritage pictures, curtains, tassles, colours, etc. Great variety of items available for the self-serve breakfast. Smart TV in our room and breakfast room had Netflix, free to air TV, YouTube, etc. Sheridan linen and a variety of pillows to choose from. Towels were thick and soft. Ensuite was kept in period too with clawfoot bath, wooden seat and lid on toilet. A totally delightful place to stay!

We loved the house and the surrounds . Great communication from the owners who were very helpful with the history of the house etc. We have been to 37 Airb&bs in Tasmania and this would have to be the best one . So many good points that you will have to book and stay. We booked for 4 nights which did not seem long enough.

Doug from the swinging gate vineyard was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the wines during our tasting . He also delivered Puzzas to our Domescope to enjoy with his fabulous wine , sitting outside around the fire pit ,under the stars . It was perfect !!!!!!!

    The property is within walking distance to Seahorse World...

    The property is within walking distance to Seahorse World and Platypus World both of which were well worth visiting. There is not much on offer for food but the Moon Lily Cafe in Beaconsfield nearby was amazing.
