The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming I didnt realise check in was at 2pm and needed to be out and ready at 1.30pm The staff managed to get my room ready in 15 mins. So I could be ready to leave on time

    I love Mittagong, a town that feels like you are really part of the Highlands. The community is friendly and the local pubs are full of characters up for a chat at the end of the day - its cool / cold in Winter and makes you feel alive. A beautiful town.

    A great place to stay to explore the Southern Highlands, located 30 minutes out of Campbelltown in Sydney and not too long out of Goulburn. Very nice sport for cafes, wine, antique, country shopping, and scenic drives. Close to a number of good hikes at lookouts / waterfalls

    Good stopover / halfway point between Brisbane/ Toowoomba ( original origin ) and Melbourne ( final destination ) - right on the highway so easy to locate. Good facilities -shops, dining , huge RSL with good meals

    We love Elstead, the property owned by Wombatised, and all the wildlife work that goes on there. We are devastated by the destruction of Frensham’s ancient 100 acre forest with its wildlife , and the platypuses in the Nattai River. So sad.

    Charming little town, lots to see and close to other Southern Highlands areas…friendly locals..very pretty place. Dined at local RSL…beautiful meal..also coffee ar local cafes but there mainly to catch up with family..short but very enjoyable stay

    We stayed during Tulip Time.

    We stayed during Tulip Time. These days it’s more like a festival rather than a display. The Tulips are just amazing but the food vans and market stalls make it a family atmosphere with some live entertainment thrown in.

    We have stayed at Mittagong Motel quite a few times before. It is always clean and comfortable with plenty of room for suitcases. The bed is comfortable, plenty of good hot water for the shower and conveniently located. Good wide car parking spaces. We do enjoy the included Continental Breakfast which makes Mittagong Motel excellent value for money.

    Fabulous cottage in Mittagong for our two night visit. Comfortable beds complete with electric blankets and lovely linen. Bright open spaced living area with a modern kitchen stocked with everything you need. Reverse cycle heating kept the chill at bay! I’d highly recommend staying at The Alice when you’re in the area. Thanks for a great stay
