Mount Victoria is a great place to stay. Away from the crowds of Leura and Katoomba with lots of lovely walks nearby. Thoroughly recommend the Hydro Majestic Wintergarden for High Tea on a Sunday. The Grand Canyon walk near Blackheath is so pretty. Very busy walk (ie lots of other bushwalkers) but worth it for the prettiness of the walk. Mount Victoria is the perfect point on the Blue Mountains to stay. Close, but not too close to everything, both down towards Katoomba and also west, toward Lithgow and Bathurst. It's gorgeously picturesque. Quiet, stunning and the perfect place to recharge and relax. It's a small village, so not a huge amount of shops or eateries - Blackheath is close if you are looking for that sort of thing.Guest review byJulie - 10.0

Furthest mountain location from Sydney, so a longer journey, but quieter when you get there. Lots of picturesque view points that are easy to get to. Having your own car will be the best way to see Mount Victoria. Not many restaurants or cafes nearby, so either cook at home or be prepared to drive back to Blackheath, Leura or Katoomba for wider restaurant choice. Beautiful wall papers and tiles. The beds were comfortable. General furnishings in the home are great and a work in progress. The free breakfast is a Continental breakfast- quiet good- variety of breads for toasts, fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurts, milks (dairy, oat and almond), teas and coffee. The house had all we needed, including a yard for the dogs to run around in, an indoor fireplace to relax next to at night and a nice bath tub!
