Close to shops and the many eateries at The Strand. Bus stop out the front. Flat area for easy walking. Easy to find our way around by car. North ward has a great vibe and feels safe.
North ward has a great vibe and feels safe. Lots of people about without being too crowded, lots of great eat places to chose from ( can recommend the Asian Thai Fusion restaurant for dinner - yum - and the Bakehouse on Eyre Street for brunch ), beautiful views out to the bay, lovely waterfront walks/ cycling, and several swimming pools within walking distance. North Ward is a very accessible part of Townsville, there is a good nightlife and good access to a large supermarket. its on the beachfront so it can get quite busy, but at night the noise was not noticible from my lodgingsGuest review byPhillipAustralia
