We did the Hawkins Bay walk very steep need good fitness but the view was very rewarding once you reached the top. The Jetty is great both day and the lights are lovely at night time. We ate at the R & R hotel great meals beautiful fish tank and the service was great too. Also you must visit the Museum.Guest review byJoanne - 10.0

Picnic Bay is the quieter end of Magnetic Island with a lovely beach lots of birdlife and well cared for Mall area filled with shaded seating areas , magnificent Fig trees and a hotel which serves good food with bright cheerful service. There are other options for meals and more to be found in the other bay areas and the local bus service will take to all the beauty spots on the Island.
