The lounge was awesome — really chill vibes. The whole place just feels peaceful. The atmosphere’s amazing, and since the hotel’s a bit out of the city, it’s got this relaxed, different kind of feel. Oh, and the brekkie was pretty good too.

It was a lovely little cottage in a quiet and peaceful rural area. The interior was very tastefully furnished to exceptional standards. Gerry was an attentive host who gave us everything we needed and more. I will recommend her cottage to friends and family who will be travelling to Tasmania in the future.

Gary made us amazing breakfasts on both days. He also made a terrific afternoon tea. The rooms are great and the outside area fabulous. Great views and a fire pit as well. Recommend this place highly!

We enjoyed many scenic drives around the riverside and the...

We enjoyed many scenic drives around the riverside and the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. The cafes in Dover, Huonville and Franklin offered tasty meals. We are elderly but younger couples might enjoy Hastings Cave and Thermal Springs and Tahune Airwalk. A lovely drive is the C638 from Waterloo to Dover.
