I had the most relaxing stay at this beautiful retreat in Wilsons Prom. The setting is stunning – peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the perfect place to unwind. Sandy Point is such a beautiful and relaxed spot south of Melbourne and this holiday unit is just perfect for a quiet getaway with your whole family. The two bedrooms offer beautiful views of the small garden with all it's wildlife (parrots, cockatoos, etc.) and very comfortable beds. There's also a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy livingroom with fireplace and candles. You can have a barbecue at the veranda at sunset and hang your beachtowels on the clothline outside. The beautiful beach is just a short walk away from your dorstep. The best part of our stay here was the encounter of a koala sitting in a tree of the frontyard in the morning 😀.

The furniture and decor were updated and very inviting; it had a modern feel. The property was well supplied with linens, kitchen utensils and equipment, and everything we needed. We enjoyed the quiet location and the backyard space. This was a very comfortable place to stay and it met all of our needs.

it is the starting point for hikes walks sitting on a beach and going on a boat trip around Tidal River - could not believe the amount of camping spaces at Tidal River. If anyone has a chance please do the boat ride - amazing we had a very calm sunny day out on the Bass Strait.

Half hours drive to Tidal River may not suit some visitors who’d prefer to be closer to various hikes. We prefer being in a quieter location, so it suited us perfectly((& Fish Creek & Foster close by are worth visiting)

Yanakie is a small area near the entrance to the Wilson...

Yanakie is a small area near the entrance to the Wilson Promontory Park. It has a pizza restaurant and garage/general store. A good place to get accommodation for exploring the Prom if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Tidal River site. Pizza restaurant is a bonus as the only place for proper food in the area.

Not much to say. Close to beautiful Wilsons Prom.

Not much to say. Close to beautiful Wilsons Prom. Has a good Local pizza shop with a general store and Petrol station. The guy in the general store was rude and grumpy. He carried on about covid rules and mask-wearing even though I had an exemption. Lucky it was when we were on our way out.

Yanakie si a cute little mini town with General Store and the Pizza Restaurant. The last Petrol Station there. The Wilsons Holiday Park is close to the Prom. We managed to do all walks we planned. Recommended stay if someone wants to explore the beautiful Wilsons. Highly recommended is the Little Drift walk...between number 2 and number 3 orange pole - approximately 2.5km driving from the Gate...on the left side. The walk is about 20 min one way.

Very comfortable cabin, own car park, quiet (apart from the bird in the Grevillea),stunning view for sunrise, washing machine, fully equipped. Also appreciated the owner allowing me to check in early as I was already in Yanakie. Thank You for being so accommodating. On the property saw Kangaroos, Wallabies, Native birds, close enough to all the attractions on the Prom and Foster and Fish Creek. Foodworks in Yanakie and Petrol.

The cabins are situated on a family owned property at Yanakie, the gateway to Wilsons Promitory, with great views of the surrounding land. Our cabin was comfortable, clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed. It was a quiet, relaxing place to stay with lovely gardens and large expanse of lawn. Highly recommend staying here.

An unexpectedly beautiful and peaceful property and location. Beautifully furnished and kitchen well equipped. Friendly hosts. Very close to the entrance to Wilsons Promontory, and a few minutes to the Yanakie General Store. Loved our stay at the cottages and exploring WP. We look forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!!
